E-Mail Security Solutions

Hi and thanks for visiting.

My name is Larry Karnis and I work in a company that focuses on E-Mail security. My associates and I have watched the problems of spam grow from a minor annoyance to a mission-critical problem over the last 5 years. I run a boutique ISP business and our customers (and our systems) were being affected by Spam so we decided to do something about it.

We started by trying all of the things people normally advise:

  • Don't publish your e-mail addresses on your web site
  • Do Real Time Black Hole list lookups (a la SpamHaus)
  • Don't cruise Internet News Groups
  • Don't participate in chain letters or other forums where spammers troll for e-mail addresses
The problem is, we already did all of this and we still got Spam!

Note that I am not afraid to use my real, business e-mail in this blog. I am simply not concerned about the Spam activity that posting my e-mail address will generate. PerfectMail will protect me.
